Coasts Of Konkan

As the road unwinds
And you see the mountain ranges
The air seems different
And even the breeze changes

When you pass through a sheepish town
Coconut and beatlenut trees are where
When you hear the sound of sea waves
You know the coasts of Konkan are there

The beach is full of life
Everyone has something to do
Little toddlers an even grandparents
Are playing with the sand too

I feel like digging my bare feet in the sand
And run wild on the shore
My hair getting messy by the wind
But that would only make me run more

I feel like splashing in the waves
And take a dip in the sea
Then swim and race with the waves
Get all tanned and just be me

Ski boat is my favorite
Coz it jumps over the waves
It must bring butterflies in the stomach
And is meant for a heart that is brave

I look at folk parasailing
Chasing and flowing with the wind
Looking down over the sea
The picturesque view must be pinned

As I watch the sun go down
I move my wheelchair little to the side
While it was fun to watch everything on the beach
This restraining companion is my only ride

This place lets me dream
Of being without my restraining chair
Thats why every year
Coasts of Konkan call me there
